It seems as though NSI has always been a milestone driven company. It has always worked towards achieving a result that was identified by its leader. Obstacles came and went and like every year before it; growth continued. As this piece of history was being developed, John Ortiz was asked what milestones kept NSI moving forward from 2000:

In 2000, NSI moved from Placentia, CA, to their current home in Anaheim, CA

In 2001, Reflex Lighting was born, patented and trademarked

In 2002, NSI and LEDWorks come together under one roof

In 2003, NSI passes 100,000 feet of factory produced product.

In 2004, NSI gets a mascot – Zoe Ortiz and she brings a lot of laughter to the whole group

In 2005, NSI adopts a new company name – NSI Products

In 2006, NSI will surpass 130,000 feet of factory produced product.

Other Milestones

In 1995, NSI incorporated as a corporation in California

In 1996, NSI began work on light emitting diodes

In 1997, NSI began working with California Lighting Sales and they introduced us to everyone in LA and Orange County

In 1998, NSI continued building the Neon program for Target Stores reaching 50 stores within three years

In 1999, NSI began work on 5 miles of neon at Desert Passage in the Aladdin Casino
