Pete Contreras has been involved in engineering for 28 years. His background extensively consists of designing printed circuit boards, mechanical engineering and project management. During these 28 years, his experience has involved him in military, aerospace, commercial and architectural projects. He has attended several universities to further his education in Sigma Six, Statistic Process Control, World Class Manufacturing, Just In Time Manufacturing, Material Procurement, Project Management and Team Building.

He began his career with NSI 11 years ago. He has played an integral part to the success and growth of the company due to the fact that he has managed over 570 projects, produced over 7,560 drawings, cut sheets and spec requirements. Some of his primary responsibilities are interfacing with general contractors, electrical contractors, project managers, establishing BOM for purchasing to procure materials, scheduling material, lamp manufacturing, installation, shipments and providing technical expertise to customer questions and concerns.
