The RL-DB is different than your typical cold cathode lamp. Unlike most cold cathode lamps, which use halo-phosphates, the RL-DB uses tri-phosphor coatings. The tri-phosphor coating is used for thermal management, increased CRI and it cohesive properties to the internal reflector.

The double back configuration, of the electrode, allows this lamp to be used for installations where the lamp is terminated by using a Pyrex insulator. This lamp is typically used for cove lighting in which the depth of the cove is greater than 3", but less than 6". This has a 5 Year Lamp Warranty, with a 1 year transformer and component warranty. Listings include UL, UZBL and IFAY.
